PureContact Is a Visual, Swipe-Driven Speed Dialer for Android
Android: Most Android phones have some kind of speed dialer, whether it's a "favorites" tab in the dialer app or programmable contact buttons, but PureContact steps in and adds some useful gestures that make calling, texting, emailing, or using another app to stay in touch with friends super easy.
Once installed, you can build your speed dial list by long-pressing any bubble and adding a contact to it. Once you fill out your list of popular contacts, you can use any of the app's gestures to perform specific actions. For example, swipe left across their photo to open a new text message to that contact. Swipe up from the bottom to email them, or down from the top to send them a message through WhatsApp, for example. Double-tap a contact to call them immediately, and long-press them to edit.
Each of the gestures is programmable, but you are limited to the functions the app can handle, like call, text, email, WhatsApp, and opening the contact card. The app is in development and the developer is looking for feedback, so if you want to see your favorite app supported or more programmable features, hit the link below to offer your feedback. PureContact is free, and the dev has some exciting features on the way, including themes and more actions.
